The opportunities are endless when you join the Jaycees. Our mission is to empower young active citizens to create positive change in their communities. Our members offer targeted, sustainable solutions that achieve results. From poverty to illiteracy to the UN Millennium Development Goals, our members tackle serious issues without hesitation. The Jaycees is an international organization. Junior Chamber International (JCI) is our international arm, with nearly 200,000 young active citizens and over five million alumni – including several world leaders. JCI chapters are spread over more than 5,000 local communities and over 100 countries around the world. The Vision of the United States Junior Chamber: To be the leading global network of active young citizens. The Mission of the United States Junior Chamber: To provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change. Our Creed: We believe, That faith in God gives meaning and purpose to human life, That the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations, That economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise, That government should be of laws rather than of men, That earth's great treasure lies in human personality, And that service to humanity is the best work of life.
One of the fastest growing gravel race hosts in the southwest
History: MoosePacks LLC was founded in 2015 in Boone, North Carolina by Matt Moosa. We are all about Bikes! Rad Bags! and Adventures! Our company set a mission to offer customers the highest quality solutions for everyday adventures. We accomplish this by producing products that promote sustainable practices for a clean environment. Some of the first products we designed and developed consisted of backpacks, duffels, and tote bags. Our founder realized the importance of saving scrap fabrics to reduce material waste. One of the first products he designed with the extra fabric was a handlebar bag. Over the years the brand popularity grew within the outdoor community and the company started to form. We still continue to save scraps to reduce waste. If you are interested in having a bag made with our signature patch work design, please ask! Our Process: Here at MoosePacks we like handmade products. Each design has a hand drafted pattern and has been prototyped and field tested before reaching the market. A majority of our products are hand cut and sewn. Occasionally when our demand is high, we use a U.S. manufacturer. We promote sustainability through our processes, durability, and materials used. We build our products to last #toughasamoose. We take pride in sourcing some of the toughest pack cloths on the market and raw materials from U.S. suppliers. Before we co-brand with a third-party supplier like (Recover Brands and Specialized Bottles) we assure that the company is U.S. based and has like-minded goals of a sustainable outlook. Current & Future Ambitions: We are a small team with big aspirations. We will continue to grow our product line through 2021 with small batches of newly released products and colors. The small batch products will be hand made by the founder himself. We will continue to contract out our core products to a U.S. manufacturer when needed. This helps with more efficient lead times and more time to design and develop future products. One of our main ambitions is to have all products made from 100% recycled fabrics. We will be incorporating ECOPAK™ into our products during 2021. Being an outdoor brand is not just a lifestyle, it is a promise to help the community that we live in. One of the many pressing matters that we find important is helping to conserve and keep our lands clean. We are proud to partner with 1% for the Planet and donate our time and earnings to North Carolina based non-profits. As the year progresses, we will share more about our non-profit partnerships and how we are staying involved.
